Brokerage registration renewals due soon.

The annual season for renewing brokerage registrations is about to begin, according to the National Association of Securities Dealers.

Starting Nov. 11, the association will mail renewal notices for calendar year 1995 to member firms. Payments are due by Dec. 16.

The invoices will cover NASD personnel assessments; branch-office fees; maintenance fees for five major exchanges; and renewal fees for certain state licenses.

In a key change, NASD assessments for broker-dealer branch offices are scheduled to rise to $75 per branch, from $50 at present. Fees are based on the number of active branches at Dec. 31, 1994.

Personnel assessments will remain at $10 per registered representative. The NASD sets and enforces professional standards for securities firms.
