C&I Loans Climbed Last Week, Fed Says

U.S. banks' commercial and industrial loans rose 0.8% last week, to about $1.293 trillion, the Federal Reserve Board said.

The increase, which the Fed reported Friday, followed a 0.3% increase the previous week.

Jumbo certificates of deposit grew 1.2%, to about $1.811 trillion, after growing 1.7% the previous week.

Revolving home equity loans rose 0.3% last week, to $464.3 billion, after falling 6 basis points the previous week.
