Card Briefs: Amex Goes Platinum For Corporate Users

American Ex-press Co. has introduced a corporate card for senior executives at midsize and larger companies.

The American Express Corporate Platinum card offers premium services such as the company's Membership Rewards mileage program, concierge services, hotel room upgrades, and complimentary companion airline tickets.

A travel services director at Dun & Bradstreet Corp. said, "Our executives, some of whom have preferred to use their personal American Express Platinum cards to charge business T&E, can now access many of the same benefits and services with the Corporate Platinum card." Dun & Bradstreet is an American Express client.

American Express said it has been testing the product since November 1997. More than 75 companies enrolled 500 executives in the pilot. The card's annual fee is $300.
