Card Briefs: Command Credit Plans Purchase to Boost Stock

Command Credit Corp. announced that it intends to purchase its own securities on the open market.

The board of directors for the corporate finance company authorized the move because they said they believe the company's stock is grossly undervalued.

Command Credit said it expects to show a significant increase in revenue by June 30, in part because the company is in the process of implementing 10 affinity group contracts and several bank contracts to market and service credit cards.
