Two Florida companies are jointly selling prepaid cellular phones.

Beginning next month, Sterling Travel Consultants in Boca Raton will nationally market the phones, made by Uc'nwin Systems Corp. in Fort Lauderdale.

A computer chip in the phone is programmed for up to six hours of air time, purchased in the form of insertable cards.

The companies said the phones and cards will provide service to nearly 20 million customers who have not had cellular phone service because of credit problems.
