ATLANTA - Credit Strategy Management Inc. introduced Advance, a generic credit-scoring model that the company said can evolve into a custom model.

Advance is designed for organizations that have not yet accumulated enough data to create a custom model, but want to move in that direction. The generic product can be installed immediately and can be upgraded to the customized mode over 18 months.

Retailers Barney's and Kohl's are using Advance.
