WILMINGTON, Del. - Electronic Payment Services Inc.'s MAC network said it has installed an automated teller machine on the "D" channel of an integrated services digital network.

ISDNs allow for voice, data, and video transmissions over common lines. Previously, each ATM had one analog connection to the network's main switch; now there will be a public network of digital lines.

MAC said the new method improves the network's ATM services and lays the foundation for advanced functions.
