Card Briefs: Small Bank to Put ATMs in 16 Ore. Kmarts

South Umpqua Bank said it will install 16 automated teller machines by the end of summer in Kmart stores in Oregon. South Umpqua, which has 12 branches and $325 million of assets, is "continuously looking for retail partners to expand our ATM network and complement our overall strategic growth plans," said president and chief executive officer Ray Davis.

"This partnership is particularly exciting because of Kmart's statewide presence," he said. "The new ATMs will give our customers easier access to their funds and expand our availability in new markets as well as those we already serve."
