BB&T, a subsidiary of $21 billion-asset Southern National Corp., said it is issuing Visa business cards.
The revolving business card is aimed at small-business owners, managers, and employees, and is geared to handle everyday purchases and travel and entertainment expenses.
Scott Qualls, manager of the bank's revolving credit department, said the card will help small businesses better manage cash flow.
The card rate is prime plus 5.9%. BB&T said will waive the annual fee, provided cardholders meet minimum purchase requirements. The bank did not release details.
