Central Fidelity Of Virginia Promotes Four To Key Posts

Deborah J. Brooks, Jay O. Livingston, Stephen W. Mapp, and Jean A. Segner have been appointed to key positions with Central Fidelity Banks Inc., Richmond, Va.

Ms. Brooks, corporate executive vice president, has been named retail banking manager for the $10.1 billion-asset bank, which has 230 branches. She will also head the corporate marketing division.

She joined Central Fidelity in September 1977 as manager of marketing research. She has been corporate executive vice president since 1993.

Mr. Livingston, corporate executive vice president, has been named chief administrative officer.

Since joining Central Fidelity as financial management officer, Mr. Livingston has held numerous management positions. In 1993 he assumed his current role as manager of staff support services. He was elected corporate executive vice president in 1993.

Mr. Mapp, corporate executive vice president, has been named capital region president.

He joined the company in 1983 as commercial loan officer and group leader for the small and middle market groups in the capital region. He was named corporate executive vice president in 1991 and appointed to the executive committee in 1993.

Ms. Segner, senior vice president, has been promoted to corporate marketing division manager, responsible for all of the company's marketing efforts. She joined Central Fidelity in 1986 as corporate marketing communications manager.
