NEW YORK -- Chase Manhattan U.S.A. has joined Visa U.S.A.'s purchasing card program, which streamlines the process of allowing corporations' employees to purchase small-ticket items for business purposes.
The card, which is aimed at the 80% of the corporate purchasing market that consists of transactions under $250, can be used at 10.5 million Visa-accepting locations worldwide. Chase added that the card can reduce purchasing expenses by up to 40%.
Chase Manhattan Bank (U.S.A.) of Delaware is the nominal issuer of the card, which is one of the services marketed by the corporate-oriented global payment and treasury services group.
