NEW YORK -- Chase Manhattan Bank said it is offering comprehensive cross-currency pooling.

Under the system, all of a customer's balances are notionally converted to U.S. dollars for an aggregate position against which the improved interest rate per currency is calculated.

The system allows treasury managers to earn a higher aggregate rate of interest on Chase accounts, the bank said.
