Chicago White Sox Collectible Card to Use Precis System

Precis Smart Card Systems Inc., Oklahoma City, said its PrecisCache stored-value system will be used in collectible smart cards to be issued by the Chicago White Sox.

The cards will go on sale June 16 and 17, when the White Sox play the cross-town rival Cubs, commemorating the first regular-season games between American League and National League teams and the 1906 World Series between the two Chicago clubs.

The $20 cards will be usable for refreshments and souvenirs at Comiskey Park.

Precis' partners in the project are Verifone Inc., Gemplus Corp., and Tangent Associates.
