BUDAPEST -- Citibank Budapest, a unit of Citibank Overseas Investment COrp., said it has increased its share capital by 88%, to the equivalent of $35.3 million.
The Citicorp affiliate had said at the time of its annual meeting in May that it would not pay dividends on 1993 results, but would set aside 1.7 billion forints, or $16.7 million, to increase its capital.
In 1993, the bank reported a pretax profit equal to $26 million on revenues of $59.8 million.
