Citizens Bank Names Executive

Citizens Bank in Providence, R.I., has hired a vice president, transferred one from Boston to Providence, and promoted two assistant vice presidents to vice president.

The bank is a subsidiary of Citizens Financial Group, the U.S. banking subsidiary of Royal Bank of Scotland PLC.

John K. Fuller joined Citizens last year and was named vice president of credit policy reporting. He was hired from Indianapolis-based George S. Olive & Co. LLC, an accounting and consulting firm.

Dennis Wyatt, who retains his vice president rank, was named regional manager of retail banking, in charge of the East Bay region of Rhode Island-East Providence and Newport. He was a retail sales and services manager for Citizens Bank of Massachusetts, the Boston unit of Citizens Financial.

Linda J. Petrosinelli, in cash management, and Stephen R. Russell, in human resources, were promoted to vice president.

Citizens Financial also elected Edward H. Ladd to its board of directors. He is the chairman and managing director of Standish, Ayer & Wood Inc., a Boston investment counseling firm that manages about $46 billion. He has been chairman since 1989.
