COMMUNITY FIRST Bankshares, Fargo, N.D., said Matthew D. Butler resigned as a director and the board elected two new ones, expanding its membership to 11.
Mr. Butler, chairman of the board of Butler Machinery Co., Fargo, resigned in order to have more time for his other business interests.
The new directors are John H. Flittie and James T. Anderson. Mr. Flittie is president and chief operating officer of NWNL Cos., Minneapolis. Mr. Anderson has been vice president and treasurer of U S West Inc., Englewood, Colo., since 1984.
