Continental leads $52M credit for VLSI.

SAN JOSE, Calif. -- VLSI Technology Inc. has completed a $52.5 million credit agreement with Continental Bank of Chicago as agent.

Chemical Bank, Comerica Bank, and Bank of California participated in the credit, which consists of a revolving line and a letter of credit facility that can be used to provide working capital to support the high-technology company's growth. The briefs were compiled from staff and wire reports.
