A Jan. 27 article on page 14 , "Banks Wary About New Bill-Payment Demands," quoted Paul Ayres, KeyCorp's on-line services manager, out of context. When Mr. Ayres said he would be "hard-pressed to use Transpoint for bill pay" he was referring to the company's "pay anyone" service, not to payment of electronically presented bills.

A Jan. 29 article on page 1, "Card Rivals Spend Millions on Ads to Butt Heads During Super Bowl," misidentified John Hayes. He is executive vice president of global advertising at American Express, not Ogilvy & Mather.

A caption on page 6A of Monday's M&A Roundup misidentified the people in the picture. Paul Hazen, chairman of Wells Fargo, is on the left, and president Richard Kovacevich is on the right.
