Covenant buying Landis Savings in N.J.

HADDONFIELD, N.J. -- Covenant Bank has received regulatory approval for its acquisition of Landis Savings Bank in Vineland, N.J.

Covenant has assets of $194 million.

The acquisition of Landis Savings, which. has assets of about $60 million, will mark the entrance of Covenant into Cumberland County, bringing the total number of offices in the franchise to 10. With this acquisition, Covenant assets will grow to more than $250 million. Point Bancorp has assets of $57 million.
