Deacon to Head First Colonial Unit
Michael J. Deacon has been named president of First Colonial Bank of McHenry County, Crystal Lake, Ill. The bank is a new subsidiary of $1.6 billion-asset First Colonial Bankshares Corp., Chicago.
The bank will operate a temporary facility in the Commons shopping center in Crystal Lake. Its permanent facility, which will be in the Crystal Lake Business Center, is expected to open in January.
Mr. Deacon, 43, has worked in banking for more than 10 years in Crystal Lake, most recently as executive vice president and chief financial officer of Home State Bank.
