Delaware First Financial Corp Names Executive

MIDDLE ATLANTIC

Delaware First Financial Corp., Wilmington, and its Delaware First Bank named vice chairman Ernest J. Peoples as interim president and chief executive officer.

Mr. Peoples, 65, succeeded Ronald P. Crouch, 49, who had been head of the bank for 16 years. Mr. Crouch resigned to pursue other interests, the holding company said.

Mr. Peoples has been a director of Delaware First Bank and its predecessor, Ninth Ward Savings Bank, since 1964.

Delaware First Financial, which completed its initial public offering Dec. 31, has $110 million of assets. J. Bayard Cloud, 85, is chairman.
