Milwaukee-based Deluxe Data reached an agreement to purchase the Software Partnership Ltd., a Runcom, England, developer of open systems architecture for large financial institutions. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
Following completion of the acquisition, the Software Partnership and Deluxe Data's existing subsidiary, Connex Europe, will be combined to form Deluxe Data's international operations. The new unit will trade under the Deluxe Data name. The Software Partnership develops and supplies a generic electronic delivery framework that offers an organization's customers direct realtime access to electronic banking products.
Deluxe Data is a third-party processor of debit transactions for regional networks, financial institutions, and retailers.
It is part of the Payment Systems Division of Deluxe Corp.
