Add another mobile banking provider to the fray. ATM kingpin Diebold is adding another self-service solution to its outsourcing stable to provide the two-way mobile-phone based platform from partner ClairMail.
The partnership, announced at BAI Retail Delivery, will give Diebold clients a choice of an on-premise deployment or a managed service. ClairMail differentiates its SMS service with a two-way customer interaction system, in which customers can take action and manage their accounts through the alerts they receive on the phone. ClairMail also offers turnkey integration into a bank’s existing messaging and mobile Web software systems.
By including this mobile delivery channel, according to a Diebold news release, financial institutions can meet growing customer demands for self-service tools while reducing operational costs, such as in contact centers and IVR platforms.
