Dillon, Read & Co., New York, said Wayne D. Thornbrough, formerly president and chief investment officer of State Street Research and Management Co., has joined the firm as a managing director.
He will also be president and chief executive officer of a new investment management subsidiary, Dillon, Read Investment Management Inc., which has been created to conduct Dillon Read's domestic activities in the field.
