Entrust's Board Grows to Eight Members

Entrust Technologies Inc. said it has expanded its board of directors to eight, five of whom were elected in May.

The new members are former U.S. Rep. Butler C. Derrick Jr. of South Carolina, now a partner in the law firm Powell, Goldstein, Frazer & Murphy; Jawaid Ekram, senior vice president of Visa International; Christopher M. Stone, senior vice president of Novell Inc.; James A. Thomson, president and chief executive officer of Rand Corp., and Michael P. Ressner, vice president, finance, at Nortel Networks' enterprise solutions group.

Nortel was the original parent of Entrust, now a publicly held company. The other directors of the digital security company are John Ryan, CEO and president of Entrust; F. William Conner, executive vice president of Nortel Networks marketing and communications; and Terrell B. Jones, executive vice president of Sabre Inc. and president of Travelocity.com.
