MIDWEST

Central Bank in Nicholasville, Ky., has hired Stephanie D. Adams to be assistant vice president of personal trust.

Ms. Adams was an assistant vice president and manager of the personal trust department for seven years at Trust Company of Kentucky, an Ashland subsidiary of Community Trust Bancorp in Pikeville.

Central Bank is a subsidiary of $867 million-asset Central Bancshares in Lexington, Ky.

MIDDLE ATLANTIC

S&T Bank in Indiana, Pa., has given Robin Gray, Steven Leach, Keith Lester, and Lisa Wymer the title of vice president. Their responsibilities do not change.

Ms. Gray, who had been an assistant vice president, is the $2.3 billion-asset bank’s deposit operations manager. She oversees its deposit functions, including operations, verification, maintenance, exceptions processing, document management, and electronic funds transfer services.

She joined S&T in 1993 as a management trainee. Before that she had been a project management specialist at Computer Sciences Corp.

Mr. Leach oversees the bank’s brokerage services department, including discount brokerage and trading operations. He is also responsible for product development and compliance and for the bank’s regional financial services centers.

He joined S&T in 1995 as a trust and business development officer. Before that he had been an independent financial planner. He has 15 years of investment experience.

Mr. Lester was also given the title of manager of data processing, and he remains responsible for overseeing item processing, remittance processing, computer operations, and mail processing.

Before joining S&T in 1999, he was a data manager at U.S. National Bank in Johnstown, Pa. He has 20 years of data processing experience.

Ms. Wymer is the trust operations manager. She is responsible for developing and carrying out trust operations and information system plans. She joined the bank in 1988.

S&T Bank is the principal subsidiary of S&T Bancorp.

SOUTHEAST

Citizens Inc., an Austin, Tex., financial services company that specializes in life insurance, has promoted Clayton D. Dunham, its international marketing officer, to chief marketing officer.

Mr. Dunham, who also is an executive vice president, is responsible for the $262 million-asset company’s domestic and international marketing operations.

He joined the company in 1984 as an executive vice president. He has 32 years of experience in the insurance industry and specializes in marketing.
