Walter R. Fatzinger Jr, has been elected president and chief executive officer of First National Bank of Maryland/D.C., Washington, a subsidiary of First Maryland Bancorp, Baltimore.
He will continue as executive vice president at both the holding company and First National Bank of Maryland. His responsibilities include all of the company's metropolitan Washington banking activities and corporate. wide trust functions.
Prior to joining First Maryland, Mr. Fatzinger was president of American Security Bank, Washington, and as president and Chief trust officer of Security Trust Co.
He will work out of the Washington affiliate.
