Fed Supervision Chief Retiring

Roger Cole, a 30-year veteran of the Federal Reserve Board, said Thursday he will retire as its director of supervision and regulation Aug. 1.

Cole has been the division director since September 2006. He joined the central bank as a senior financial analyst in 1979 and was promoted to associate director in 1997 and senior associate director in 2001.

The Fed has not named a successor.
