Fidelity Federal Bank in Glendale, Calif., a subsidiary of Bank Plus Corp., has hired Ronald A. Stoffers as chief credit officer.

He succeeded William C. Taylor 3d, who remains executive vice president and chief lending officer of the $4.3 billion-asset thrift.

Mr. Stoffers, who was also named a senior vice president, was a vice president at Sanwa Bank California, responsible for the credit policy and portfolio management department.

Before that he was a senior vice president at Secura Group, a manager in Deloitte & Touche's financial institutions consulting group, and a bank examiner with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency.
