First Constitution Financial Corp.

First Constitution Financial Corp., New Haven, has elected George H. Brooks-Gonyer as senior vice president, treasurer, and chief financial officer of the corporation and its First Constitution Bank subsidiary, replacing Josiah B. Venter.

Mr. Venter is leaving the company after regulatory reports are filed in mid-August, said John J. Crawford, president and chief executive officer. "He then will work with me on special projects, principally corporate business planning, until he departs at the end of November.

Mr. Brooks-Gonyer, 40, joined First Constitution four years ago as senior vice president and controller. He has served as chief accounting officer since then.

In a related move, Melissa D. Gamm was elected vice president and controller of First Constitution and its bank subsidiary.
