Florida Informanagement Services Inc. announced Monday that it had acquired Databank South Inc., Thomson, Ga.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The acquisition brought 37 commercial banking clients ranging in asset size from $6 million to $650 million, Florida Informanagement said.
The Orlando-based company claims to be the nation's 10th-largest data processor for financial institutions.
Databank South, a data-processing service company, "is in our strongest market, the Southeast," said W. Harry Shuman, president and chief executive.
Adding its "growing client base to our business gives us an even stronger position in the commercial bank market," Mr. Shuman said.
