WICHITA, Kan. -- Fourth Financial Corp. said it will purchase Standard Bancorp. and Standard Bank and Trust, a privately held bank with $80 million in assets, based in Independence, Mo.
The acquisition, which is expected to close this year, marks Fourth Financials entry into Missouri. Once completed, Standard will be known as Bank IV Missouri.
Fourth Financial has $7.65 billion in assets.
