BALA CYNWYD, Pa. -- Germantown Savings Bank said it has hired Alex. Brown & Sons Inc., Baltimore, to advice it on opportunities for a possible sale. The bank had no further comment.
Germantown Savings Bank is a state-chartered savings bank with $ 1.6 billion of assets and 32 offices in the Pennsylvania counties of Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia.
