Glenmede Hires Wheat First's Top Personal Planning Exec

Glenmede Trust Co., Philadelphia, has hired Charles M. Aulino as vice president of financial planning.

Mr. Aulino, who is a lawyer specializing in trust and estates as well as tax law, will consult with high-net-worth clients and their advisers.

He was director of personal financial planning and qualified retirement plan services at Wheat First Butcher Singer. The investment banking firm was bought by First Union Corp. in February and was renamed Wheat First Securities Inc.

Before joining Wheat First in 1988, Mr. Aulino was a personal financial planner at A.G. Edwards & Sons; worked in Bank of New York Co.'s trust division; and was a lawyer with the Ridgewood, N.J., law firm of Harrison, Hartman & McDonald.
