Hancock of Miss. to Sell GNA Funds

Hancock Bank in Gulfport, Miss., has signed an agreement with GNA Corp. under which GNA will offer mutual funds and fixed and variable annuities through Hancock's branches in Mississippi and Louisiana.

The 74-branch bank has launched the Hancock Investment Center, with seven investment specialists. It expects to hire another three in the near future.

Seattle-based GNA is a unit of GE Capital Services, a wholly owned subsidiary of General Electric Co.
