Huntington Vice Chairman to Leave the Bank

Huntington Bancshares Inc. announced Friday that vice chairman Judith D. Fisher is leaving the bank to pursue other interests.

Ms. Fisher oversaw the Columbus, Ohio-based banking company's private financial group, institutional sales and trading, and investment management.

Rob Comfort, senior managing director of Huntington's brokerage arm, is taking over responsibility for the private financial group. Beth Russell, executive vice president, will continue to manage Huntington's asset management operations.

Huntington's brokerage income has tripled since Mr. Comfort joined Huntington in 1995.

Mr. Comfort and Ms. Russell will report to president and chief operating officer Peter Geier.
