NEW YORK First Union Insurance Services Agency, a subsidiary of Wachovia Corp., said it has added a New York City office, headed by managing directors Jonathan Ostrau and Peter Rooney, to offer global insurance expertise to both private and public corporations.
Both Mr. Ostrau and Mr. Rooney report to Tony Fenton, the managing director for the insurance units Northeast region, it said Tuesday. The unit formerly the Tribus Cos. is part of Wachovia Insurance Services, which has revenues of about $150 million and is ranked among the Top 15 insurance brokers in the country.
