ANN ARBOR, MICH. - ABN Amro Mortgage Group Inc. on Thursday reported that its July production increased 347% from last year, to almost $6.9 billion.
The total, which represents 45,669 loans, was down slightly from June of this year,
The company's production this year totaled $41.045 billion through July, with 272,503 loans funded. The total was up 342% from July 2000 year-to-date totals.
ABN AMRO Mortgage Group Inc. is an indirect subsidiary of Netherlands-based ABN Amro Bank NV, which has total assets of 543 billion euros. The U.S. mortgage unit has several subsidiaries, including InterFirst Wholesale Mortgage and LaSalle Home Mortgage.
