BOSTON — The institutional services unit of Fidelity Investments Inc. introduced two value investment products this week for financial advisers.

The Fidelity Advisor Equity Value Fund and the Fidelity VIP Value Portfolio will be offered exclusively through financial advisers, the company said Tuesday. They will both be managed by Stephen DuFour.

The equity value portfolio joins the Fidelity Advisor Equity Income Fund and the Fidelity Advisor Value Strategies Fund as value-oriented products offered through Fidelity Advisor Funds. These funds now total 49.

The VIP value fund brings the total of Fidelity VIP portfolios to 17. These are investment options within variable insurance contracts.

Fidelity Investments’ institutional services unit has $196.4 billion of assets under management.
