FRANKFURT - Deutsche Bank AG will reportedly name two American investment banking executives, Edson Mitchell and Michael Philipp, to its managing board.
Reports Sunday in the British press said the German banking company would make the announcement at a shareholders meeting that is scheduled for June 9th. A Deutsche Bank spokesman based in London would not confirm whether an announcement was pending.
Mr. Mitchell and Mr. Philipp would be the first Americans to join the top executive management ranks of the German banking company, and their appointment would emphasize the growing importance of global investment banking activities to the company's overall operations.
