NEW YORK - American Express Co. said it has established an online business-to-business directory that will help its corporate, purchasing, and small-business cardholders find suppliers.
The directory lists more than 400,000 suppliers in industries such as office supplies, construction, and electronics. Suppliers are listed by industry, product, and region.
American Express automatically gives free directory listings to merchants in b-to-b industries. These suppliers are allowed to customize their company profiles.
