In Brief: ATM Maker Triton Starts Leasing Unit

LONG BEACH, Miss. - Triton Systems Inc., a manufacturer of automated teller machines and ATM management software, has introduced a leasing arm, Triton Capital, that helps businesses own and operate its ATMs.

The new unit provides capital to companies that want to trade in older equipment for newer and more advanced machines. It also delivers Web-based services through which ATM distributors can buy parts, read technical service documents, and communicate with customer service representatives.

Dover Corp. of New York owns Triton Systems. The leasing unit is administered in partnership with Advanta Leasing Services, a division of Advanta Corporation of Spring House, Pa.

"Triton Capital will enable Triton distributors to be more competitive by offering customers a convenient program with low monthly payments," said Ken Paull, vice president of sales and marketing at Triton. "We've done our best to eliminate the sales barriers of financing."
