In Brief: Bank of Boston Hires Equity Derivatives Chief

Bank of Boston Corp. has named Diane Conley director of equity derivative sales for its global derivatives and global asset management divisions.

Ms. Conley joins the bank from Lehman Brothers, where she spent four years as vice president of equity derivative sales focusing on high-net- worth clients and Latin America.

She will report to Bill LePard, managing director of global derivatives sales, and Bob Garty, managing director of sales of global asset management at Bank of Boston's private bank.

Ms. Conley will market and structure equity derivatives-products that allow individuals with significant equity positions to better manage portfolio risk and create liquidity.

Before joining Lehman Brothers, Ms. Conley was vice president of corporate finance at Chase Manhattan Corp., covering financial institutions on the West Coast.
