MENLO PARK, Calif. Broadbase Software Inc. released survey results Monday showing how far online banking has come or has to go in the United Kingdom.
Of 2,000 consumers between the ages of 16 and 64 who took part in the survey, 17% said they bank online. Of those, 29% said the service was excellent and 47% said it was average.
Twenty-four percent said they wanted more personalized service, and the respondents generally said they were just as likely to communicate with their bank by phone as by e-mail. Broadbase, a banking software company, commissioned the survey from Omnibus.
