SAN FRANCISCO - Brodia, which sells electronic wallets and other online payment products to financial institutions, has hired Visa executive Paul Guthrie as vice president of global systems.
Mr. Guthrie was most recently Visa's vice president of technology research. At Brodia he will be in charge of wireless payment initiatives. Brodia, which recently announced that it will supply e-wallets for a MasterCard International program, has also hired Richard Gelhaus, chief financial officer of Re: Solutions Group Inc., as its chief financial officer. Mr. Gelhaus has worked at Centura Software, Spectrym Holobyte, and Sierra Online.
