SAN FRANCISCO Visa International has named Guy Rounsaville executive vice president and general counsel.
Mr. Rounsaville, who was most recently co-managing partner at the San Francisco office of the law firm Allen Matkins Leck Gamble & Mallory LLP, will be responsible for developing and executing global and corporate legal strategy and for coordinating legal efforts among Visas six operating regions.
Before joining Allen Matkins, Mr. Rounsaville was general counsel and corporate secretary at Wells Fargo Bank. At Visa International he succeeds Bennett Katz, who retired in late 1999.
