NEW YORK - A unit of Chase Manhattan Corp. recently issued $905 million of global asset-backed securities in two parts.

The $855 million Class A portion floats at the one-month London interbank offered rate, plus 13 basis points, and was priced at 100, said lead manager Chase Securities.

The average life is 3.04 years, it said.

The securities are expected to get AAA ratings from Moody's Investors Service Inc. and Standard & Poor's Corp.
