ATLANTA - CheckFree Holdings Corp. promoted Ravi Ganesan to vice chairman.
Mr. Ganesan, 34, had been chief technology officer since January 1997. In that role he oversaw the systems integration of several companies CheckFree had bought. More recently he led the company's effort to offer Internet bill payment, including person-to-person and person-to-merchant payments.
CheckFree supplies bill payment service to 3.3 million users and has presentment contracts with 121 billers.
