PORTLAND, Ore. Columbia Management Co. has hired Peter Hendricks to head its institutional client services division.
In the newly created position, Mr. Hendricks will initiate Columbia Managements effort to offer a broader range of products to the institutional market, which includes endowments, foundations, corporate and public pension plans, and Taft-Hartley plans for labor organizations.
Columbia manages $13 billion in institutional assets.
The Cleveland-based bank is projecting steady growth in net interest income even as credit losses remain manageable. But Chairman and CEO Chris Gorman also said that he thinks a recession is likely.
