FARGO, N.D. Community First Bankshares said it has bought insurance agencies in Wyoming and Minnesota through its affiliate Community First Insurance Agencies.
The acquisition of Barnard Insurance Agency, which has offices in Casper and Douglas, gave Community First entry into Wyoming. The $6 billion company has also bought Oftedahl Insurance Services of Minneota, Minn.
The two agencies had combined revenues of $655,000 last year.
Terms of the transactions were not disclosed.
The top five banks and thrifts had combined assets of more than $13 trillion as of December 31, 2023.
